Weekly Review 05.17.15

May 17, 2015 09:51PM

As another Sunday rolls around, it comes time for another one of my weekly updates. This week, there was a fairly equal measure of film news to compliment the usual mix of T.V. news. I should point out that I don’t share all of my articles in my weekly reviews, only those items that I feel would be of particular interest to fans of the horror & Sci-Fi genres.

To get access to everything I write about, my advice would be to follow me on one of the social media accounts listed in the Contact secti…

May 11, 2015 02:30PM

A belated Happy May The Fourth Be With You day to all of the Star Wars fans out there and a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms as well.

On that note, a special nod to those, like myself, who have lost a mother and spent yesterday either mourning your loss or remembering the good times.

Now, before things get too melancholy, on with this week’s update!

I. Journalism Projects:

First up, I …

Weekly Update 04.05.15

April 6, 2015 04:37PM

Greetings one & all!

This has been one of those weeks where so much mundane commitments really interferes with the writing process, so, on a bad note, there isn’t much new to report. I still have highlights and links from my weekly Inquisitr articles and I will be moving forward with submitting Testament for reviews with the hopes that I’ll be sharing links to reviews and interviews very soon. (If you run a blog, ezine, etc and would be interested in reviewing Testament or scheduling an interview, please contact me.)

March 30, 2015 04:49PM

Dark Blessings to my readers, followers, and friends!

I’m working on so many projects lately that I thought it would be a good idea to post a weekly update for those that may miss much of what I do throughout each week. These updates will consist of three main areas.

I. Works In Progress: I’ll be sharing short excerpts from whatever works I may have in progress. At this time, I’m working on the follow-up novel to Testament, Dark Heritage, so expect updates from that novel as I work on it.

II. Journalism Projects: For those that are not aware, I’ve been working as a staf…

Testament: A Journey into the New Yorke Witch Trials

February 22, 2015 04:43PM

It is a matter of public record (and public knowledge) that, in the year 1692, the infamous witch trials swept through the colony of Salem, Massachusetts. Many of the witches tortured and executed, throughout this season of horror and hysteria, were guilty of nothing more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is now common knowledge that, in many of these witchcraft cases, those accused of being heathens were targeted simply because another coveted their land or business and, in other cases, it was merely a matter of a love affair gone awry. Rarely, if even at…

Meet Mary Hall

Meet Mary Hall!

Happy Halloween to one & all! I hope each of you has a safe and fun-filled evening. It seems fitting to introduce a new character from "Testament" on this day, so please enjoy the excerpt posted below. In this entry, we first meet Mary Hall, wife of Roger Hall, through the eyes of Ann Rogers. It is the testimony of Ann Rogers that first instigated the witch trials of New Yorke, so perhaps it is of particular import that we experience Mary Hall thro…
