Dark Greetings!

There has been quite a bit more going on this week than last, which is definitely a good thing. Let me just jump right into it then!

I. Journalism Projects:

I started out the week with a report on Tom Six’s newest Human Centipede segment, making a trilogy out of the story of ongoing story of human beings surgically linked together to form a single digestive tract.

Weekly Update 04.05.15

April 6, 2015 04:37PM

Greetings one & all!

This has been one of those weeks where so much mundane commitments really interferes with the writing process, so, on a bad note, there isn’t much new to report. I still have highlights and links from my weekly Inquisitr articles and I will be moving forward with submitting Testament for reviews with the hopes that I’ll be sharing links to reviews and interviews very soon. (If you run a blog, ezine, etc and would be interested in reviewing Testament or scheduling an interview, please contact me.)

Weekly Update 03.30.15

March 30, 2015 04:49PM

Dark Blessings to my readers, followers, and friends!

I’m working on so many projects lately that I thought it would be a good idea to post a weekly update for those that may miss much of what I do throughout each week. These updates will consist of three main areas.

I. Works In Progress: I’ll be sharing short excerpts from whatever works I may have in progress. At this time, I’m working on the follow-up novel to Testament, Dark Heritage, so expect updates from that novel as I work on it.

II. Journalism Projects: For those that are not aware, I’ve been working as a staf…

Testament: A Journey into the New Yorke Witch Trials

February 22, 2015 04:43PM

It is a matter of public record (and public knowledge) that, in the year 1692, the infamous witch trials swept through the colony of Salem, Massachusetts. Many of the witches tortured and executed, throughout this season of horror and hysteria, were guilty of nothing more than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is now common knowledge that, in many of these witchcraft cases, those accused of being heathens were targeted simply because another coveted their land or business and, in other cases, it was merely a matter of a love affair gone awry. Rarely, if even at…

Meet Mary Hall

Meet Mary Hall!

Happy Halloween to one & all! I hope each of you has a safe and fun-filled evening. It seems fitting to introduce a new character from "Testament" on this day, so please enjoy the excerpt posted below. In this entry, we first meet Mary Hall, wife of Roger Hall, through the eyes of Ann Rogers. It is the testimony of Ann Rogers that first instigated the witch trials of New Yorke, so perhaps it is of particular import that we experience Mary Hall thro…

Ethereal Visions Press interviews Edward V'Kanty about "Testament"

July 4, 2014 11:06PM

Ethereal Visions Press recently caught up with Edward V'Kanty and posed these questions about "Testament, "Dark Heritage," and the writing process of this particular horror author. Here is what he had to say:

Ethereal Visions Press:

Is "Testament" a prequel to the upcoming novel, "Dark Heritage?"

Edward V'Kanty:

It's more of a prelude to "Dark Heritage," in the sense that it is not necessary to read "Testament" to understand "Dark Heritage." The story of "Testament" provides a history of the 17th century New Yorke witch trials (not to be …

August 29, 2013 09:05PM

In recent months, I've come across a number of people interested in exploring ebooks, but they lack the resources, or so they believe. I have heard statements such as "I want a reader but they're so expensive," or "I'm saving up for a new Ipad (or Kindle, or Nook)," and I have even come across a few people that believe "I'm paying out enough as it is, just for my Iphone (or Android, etc). I just can't afford anything more right now." If you're one of these people, this is the article for you! In the following paragraphs, I'm going to guide you through the st…
